ஹிந்துஸ்தான் ஏரோநாட்டிக்ஸ் லிமிடெட் (HAL) இன் HAWK-i இலிருந்து உள்நாட்டிலேயே உருவாக்கப்பட்ட ஸ்மார்ட் ஆன்டி-ஏர்பீல்ட் ஆயுதத்தின் (SAAW) சோதனையை டிஆர்டிஓ வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தியுள்ளது. அடுத்து இந்தியாவின் தேஜஸ் போர் விமானத்தில் சோதிக்கப்படும் DRDO has successfully tested a locally made Smart Anti-Airfield Weapon (SAAW) from HAWK-i and Jaguar of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). Next it will be tested on India's Tejas fighter jet. THis is Precision guided stand off weapon specially developed to destroy airfield assets like, runway, hanger, bunkers, control towers, fuel farms , fighter aircraft.
