Aayudham Seivom provides a video knowledge library focused on Tamil-language educational and documentary-style content. The Services are operated in connection with the Aayudham Seivom YouTube channel and related properties.

2.1 Information you provide

• Admin accounts only: if you are an authorized administrator, we store account credentials (such as email and a hashed password) to manage the video library. Ordinary viewers do not need an account to browse or watch.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Usage & technical data: standard server logs may include IP address, browser or app type, device type, pages or screens viewed, and approximate timestamps. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
• Language preference: on the website we may store your chosen language (English / Tamil) in a cookie or similar local preference so the interface stays in your language.
• Continue watching (on-device): progress such as last watched video and position may be stored locally on your device (for example browser cookies on the web, or on-device storage / SQLite on mobile). This is used to show “continue watching” and is not used to build advertising profiles.
• Notifications: if you allow notifications, your device may receive alerts about new content. On mobile, notification permission is requested by the operating system. We do not sell notification tokens.

2.3 Content from third parties

Videos are often embedded or opened via YouTube. When you play a video, YouTube (Google) may collect data under its own policies. See Google Privacy Policy.

• Local continue-watching and language data remain on your device until you clear them or uninstall the app
• Server logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security and operations
• Admin account data is kept while the account is active

The Services are general educational content and are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We use HTTPS for our website and API traffic and take reasonable measures to protect admin credentials and systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
